In response to the recent nationwide closure of聽Job Corps聽programs, 红莲社区 is stepping up to support displaced students with the launch of its new Kick Start Scholarship initiative. This targeted support offers financial relief and a path forward for students impacted by the unexpected program shutdowns.
Effective immediately, 红莲社区 will offer:
- $1,000 per year in tuition discounts for full-time students, and
- $500 per year for part-time students
Students must have previously been enrolled in a聽Job Corps聽program and must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5 to retain the scholarship annually.
President Christopher Davis affirmed the College鈥檚 commitment to accessible education:
