Frequently Asked Questions

How do I pay for classes?

Classes can be paid via online credit card, cash and etransfer.

What should my child wear for class?

Athletes should wear comfortable clothing, leggings, shorts, t-shirts etc. Socks can be worn. No shoes. No hoodies with strings.

Are your classes insured?

Yes! All athletes are insured through G.O. (Gymnastics Ontario) when their membership is paid. The one time G.O. fee per year MUST be paid in full in order to participate. This fee will insure each athlete from injury. For more information, please contact the club.

What are your term dates?

Term dates will depend on the time of year. Sessions run for 12 weeks. The dates will be posted on our website, on our Facebook page, posted at the club and provided to each family.

Are your teachers qualified?

YES! This is mandatory! We take great pride in all of our coaches. Each coach is certified through NCCP (National Coaching Certification Program), which is delivered by a highly qualified coach with Gymnastics Ontario. Some of our coaches are trained and certified in a various areas of gymnastics.

Can we still join your classes after the term has started?

Yes, with discretion. We would highly recommend that each athlete start at the beginning of each session rather than in the middle of the session. This gives the athlete time to settle in with the other members at the same time, and receive proper instruction. Starting later can be difficult on the athlete as they may feel pressured to learn. The goal with our club is for each athlete to feel fulfilled with their instruction rather than overwhelmed to know all skills.

Can parents watch?

Certainly! We ask parents, children NOT in class to sit in the viewing area. Please DO NOT walk on the purple floor, as this is for the athletes and coaches only.

Thank you for your understanding.

What is your ratio of children to coaches?

We like to keep the ratio 6:1 (athlete to coach). We try not to go over the 7 athlete per class. This allows the coach to focus on each athlete, and instruct according to their abilities, skills and needs.
