Gymnastic Club Rules

  • Treat all members with RESPECT and KINDNESS.
  • Try to do your best. Learn, try something new and enjoy your accomplishments.
  • Wear comfortable clothing. NO hoodies, no shoes or socks are required. Long hair HAS TO BE pulled back and put in pony tail. NO loose clothing. NO jewellery, NO makeup.
  • Athletes will NOT have cell phones in the gym during class time.
  • NO outside food in the gym at all!
  • NO foul language!
  • Water bottles are allowed in the gym, but PLEASE have a secure top on them.
  • ATHLETES, COACHES AND EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE PERSONNEL ARE THE ONLY PEOPLE ALLOWED IN THE GYM DURING CLASS TIME!
  • PLEASE WATCH YOUR CHILD/CHILDREN FROM VIEWING AREA ONLY! Families are prohibited on the gym floor during class time unless in case of an emergency.
  • Winter time: PLEASE REMOVE FOOTWEAR AT ENTRANCE
  • **Please watch your child/children if they are NOT in a class, we are not responsible for the children not participating in class.

COVID19-PROTOCOL

Timiskaming Tumblers Gymnastics Club is proud to announce return to

class.

Timiskaming Tumblers will be following all protocols recommended by Gymnastics Ontario.

Registration is now open online at “timgymnastics.com”.

Class changes

Due to COVID-19 this year Timiskaming Tumblers Gymnastics Club will be offering classes to

ages 6 and up.

No parent and tot, age 4-5 classes and Birthday party will be offered.

Class sizes will be reduced to ensure social distancing is met.

Classes Burgundy to Tan and Parkour/Tumbling ages 6 to 9 will be 45 minutes long with 15

minutes allowing to clean and disinfect the gym, the entrance and exit.

Classes Bronze to Turquoise and Parkour/Tumbling 10+ will be 1 hour and 15 minutes.

We will be offering a longer sessions to allow the same amount of hours in a session Winter

session from February to June. Cost per session will not change.

Entering (south end of building) and exit (North end of building) procedures

-Participants are expected to be ready for class dressed with hair tied (if hair is shoulder length

or longer).

-Participants must arrive 5 minutes before class with adult present wearing a mask (south end

of building).

-Participants will be asked to sanitize hands at entrance.

-Temperature will be taken with forehead or wrist thermometer.

-Screening questions will be ask

“Did you travel outside of Canada in the past 14 days”

“Have you been tested positive for COVID-19 or had close contact with a confirmed case of

COVID19 without wearing appropriate PPE”

“Do you have any of the following symptoms? Fever, New onset of cough, Worsening chronic

cough, Shortness of breath, Difficulty breathing, Sore throat, Difficulty swallowing, Decrease of

loss of sense of taste or smell, Chills, Headaches, Unexplained fatigue/malaise/muscle aches,

Nausea/vomiting/diarrhea/abdominal pain, Pink eye, /runny nose or nasal congestion without

other known cause”.

-Parent or adult are asked to wait outside the arena, no viewing available unless necessary.

-Participants will remove shoes, mask and be lead to designated area keeping social distancing.

-Participants will follow the coaches instructions during class following social distancing

procedure.

-There will be no access to arena lobby for use of water fountain, you must bring own water

bottle and no sharing.

-No access to washroom unless necessary.

-End of class participants will collect shoes, mask and clothing and asked to sanitize hands.

-Exiting North end of the gym, adult must present for pick up.

Coaches and staff responsibility

-Coaches and staff will be screened and will wear a masks at all times.

-Hand sanitizing and hand washing stations will be located in several designated areas in the

gym.

-Equipment and frequently touched surfaces with be cleaned and disinfected with Vital Oxide in

between each class.

-Classes will be instructed verbally with various stations keeping social distancing.

-Coaches will not spot any participants unless the chance of injury. Learning new skills will be in

progressions.

-Coaches and staff are responsible to make sure adult is present during pick up.

Vital Oxide--it reduces the spread of COVID-19, other viruses, bacteria and airborne pathogens

using biodegradable, safe, effective, human and animal friendly methods. It is a fast and

effective way to kill virus, bacteria and mold that cause healthcare associated infections. It is an
